How to Move to a Healthy Fertility-Friendly Lifestyle To Improve Pregnancy Success

Oprah Winfrey once said, “Life whispers to you all the time. It whispers, and if you don’t get the whisper, the whisper gets louder. If you don’t get the whisper when it gets louder, I call it like a little pebble — a little thump — upside the head. The pebble or the thump upside the head usually means it’s gone into a problem. If you don’t pay attention to the problem, the pebble then becomes like a brick. The brick upside your head is a crisis, and If you don’t pay attention to the brick upside your head, the crisis turns into a disaster, and the whole house — brick wall — comes falling down.”

The same can be said about your body. If you are struggling with fertility concerns, your body may be trying to whisper that an issue has not yet been adequately addressed. Suppose you’re having difficulty trying to conceive. In that case, focusing on your health will either help you get pregnant naturally or, if you pursue fertility treatment, it can improve your chances of success.

But where to start? We want to help provide you with actionable steps. Diet is one of our favorite topics, and it is so impactful for fertility. So many are eating generalized or even fad diets that may harm our fertility. Whether it’s healthy superfoods, generalized recommendations about what to eat, or avoid optimized fertility, we may not know where to start.

This is where we can help!

Forget The Diet And Change Your Lifestyle

Transforming your current lifestyle into a healthy preconception plan is not about deprivation or eating food that tastes like cardboard. That’s why we want you to think of this more, as a lifestyle change that can accomplish just that: Change your life. It’s about discovering the most nutrient-dense foods that are not only right for you and your health in particular, but that tastes good too! That way, it will be easier to commit to the long term and prepare for a successful pregnancy.

Our Fab Fertile Method takes a targeted approach to your fertility by providing functional lab testing, including food sensitivity testing, hormone testing using urine and stool testing. These tests can offer new insight into what your body may need to conceive or carry a baby to term. Plus, we review your blood chemistry using functional levels.

Fab Fertile will then provide you with a targeted food plan that can include lifestyle changes to remove environmental toxins and include nutritional supplements. This food plan is not meant as something to suffer through. It’s meant to nourish your body with healthy fats, nutrient dense protein, friendly bacteria food to support your gut health, fruit and vegetables to encourage positive microbiome health. Allergens such as dairy, gluten, corn, soy, eggs, and peanuts are found frequently across most processed foods, so we’ll encourage you to consume lean protein and foods rich in folates, preferably organic.

The ultimate goal is that your body will feel like it’s being listened to and cared for so that it can transform into its healthiest state. The better you feel, the easier this lifestyle change will be.

Don’t Neglect The Emotional Side of Your Lifestyle

While we’re improving your fertility health naturally with superfoods, part of a lifestyle change is your mental, physical and emotional health.

For example, we offer several proven relaxation techniques and stress management strategies to manage the feelings of anxiety or depression that can understandably occur when working to build your family. We also have a fertility yoga series designed to support those dealing with fertility challenges. Plus, if you want to connect to others in similar situations, we have our Fab Fertile Support Group to lend an ear.

Emotional support and a healthy meal plan can strengthen your fertility health and be a lifestyle change that changes your perspective and gives you the best odds at a healthy conception.

Take The Fab Fertile Challenge And Change Your Life

In general, we’re big believers in a functional approach as it can get the root cause of conditions like infertility. This is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach as we want your food plan to be as unique as you. Sarah Clark empowers couples to discover how lifestyle and diet can dramatically impact their chances of conceiving. She was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure at 28 and had both her kids with donor eggs. Not until years later did she discover that the root cause of her infertility was a food intolerance and later a gut infection.
